Workshops and Round tables – Part 1

Workshop 1 (FR):
Dropshipping, Cross-docking and Ship-from-Store: is this the end of intermediate storage?
The development of networks for direct distribution to consumers, bypassing e-commerce vendors’ conventional depots is becoming increasingly widespread. Lower logistics costs, economies of scale, freed up time... These approaches are becoming more and more popular. Are they now capable of out-doing traditional operations?

Round Table 1 (FR):
Carrier QS Barometer: soon the European benchmark for B2C delivery
Implementing the Carrier QS Barometer in France in 2015 has made it possible to highlight how well B2C delivery operators are performing. Since then, the project has expanded to British, Spanish, German and Italian markets, all benefiting from the new evaluation criteria. This workshop will be organised as a round robin, allowing participants to exchange ideas on methods, results or future tools to be integrated into the European barometer.

Round Table 2 (FR):
Reverse logistics: Best practises and alternatives for handling returns
Implementing a practical and inexpensive returns policy is a real headache for e-commerce vendors, in terms of redirecting the package, tracking and receiving the returned item, and repackaging it, etc. Given that overlooking this logistics aspect is not an option, e-commerce vendors are forced to focus on customer satisfaction, due to the ever increasingly strict legal obligations imposed on them.
What are the best returns practises on a national and international level? What are the various alternatives for handling returns?

15h15

Break

Before tackling the thematic workshops, a break to exchange and deepen the topics. Snacks, hot and refreshing beverages will be served in the reception room.

15h30

Workshops and Round tables – Part 2

Workshop 2 (FR):
Intraeuropeanising e-commerce: what methods should we be adopting ?
At first glance, e-commerce vendors have fewer constraints imposed upon them than physical brands do in terms of selling outside of Europe. However, very few are actually bold enough to take advantage of cross-border opportunities, as they still face numerous challenges, such as language barriers, logistics partners, regulations and SEO. This workshop will give you a rundown on the basics of exporting, best practices and case studies of e-commerce vendors who have succeeded in internationalising their e-logistics.

Round table 3 (FR):
Ecological delivery: what is there on offer ?
Environmental awareness is becoming more and more evident in the buying behaviour of consumers, businesses and local communities. With more than 4.5 billion shipments processed in Europe each year, carriers and e-commerce vendors are now obliged to adapt to new environmental standards and to new consumer requirements. What solutions are available at the moment and can they fulfil the requirements of 100% ecological delivery? How can we reconcile environmental requirements with economic, social and societal constraints?

Round table 4 (FR):
Same-Day Delivery: a delivery revolution or the effect of buzz marketing?
Same-day delivery has revolutionised the e-commerce paradigm with almost instant delivery. The emergence of last mile carriers means that e-commerce vendors can deliver goods in less than an hour. Numerous companies have got on board: Amazon, Fnac, El Corte Inglés, etc. An innovative yet adaptable solution for all e-commerce vendors?

TRAIN your teams by participating in a workshop
The project to organize the E-Logistics Convention was born of the observation that there were still many unresolved problems in the current logistics. The objective of the event is to bring together experts in e-Logistics to identify current best practices, what is currently being developed and what remains to be developed for the coming years. The convention will be annual and to each edition, ITinSell will undertake to invest some of its developments in the needs resulting from the exchanges in the workshop, a review will be carried out the following year. It's the pledge to give a real substance, a relevance to this gathering.
For the first time in France, a gathering of E-Logistics experts is organized. This event is characterized in particular by its pragmatic and concrete approach to the expeditions'problems. That is to say content for the Directors E-Logistics, Customer Service, Quality, etc. Who seek to transform their shipments into growth vehicles. Precisely: how to transform a E-Logistics of necessity into an e-Logistics of capacity. It will also be an opportunity to network and exchange experiences by meeting prestigious participants: E-Logistics Experts, Consultants, Logistics Providers, Carriers, etc. Finally, you can participate in one of the 8 workshops and round tables offered, each with a different theme and get lots of information on the topic that interests you most!
You will be able to select two of the 8 workshops and round tables offered during your registration. These will take place simultaneously in different rooms for one hour.

Two maximum invitations are available per company. Nevertheless, you will be able to find the presentation of the 8 workshop and round tables because they will be sent to each participant after the event.
You can contact an ITinSell account manager or submit on the website www.barometreqs.com. Your participation is free and you will become an official partner of the survey by accessing to the public benchmark one week before its release. You can also become a Member of the Synergy, this is a paid service, accessible at any time and without any commitment of duration. You will have more data and more functionalities than a member!
